Traps named in Hostile Architect
SludgeBit says the library is “a growing library of 30+ traps and obstacles.” The full list is not published. This page only includes names that appear in the store description, the press kit, or as labels on the official Steam screenshots.
Source notes
The official shop screenshot labels Angled Spring Board, Lava Pit, Block, Oil Pit, and Upgrade: Fire Sling. Its Oil Pit tooltip describes slowing heroes without being deadly. The tags are Upgradable, Oil, and Floor Trap. Values shown on this single pre-alpha frame are not a release balance table.
Names with a source
From the written pitch: conveyor belts, springboards, lava pits, spike ceilings, and saw blades, plus jumping-puzzle geometry you design yourself. From the shop image: Angled Spring Board, Lava Pit, Block, Oil Pit, and a Fire Sling upgrade. A combat screenshot also shows ceiling spikes, wall cannons, a swinging hammer, and a fan. Those visible objects are not assigned card names unless the UI prints them.
| Name | Where it is written | What is actually said |
|---|---|---|
| Conveyor belts | Press kit / Steam text | Used to fling heroes around the stage |
| Springboards | Press kit / Steam text | Same fling role; shop card says Angled Spring Board |
| Lava pits | Press kit and shop card | A shop card titled Lava Pit |
| Spike ceilings | Press kit | Heroes are thrown into them |
| Saw blades | Press kit | Described as filling a room |
| Oil Pit | Shop screenshot | Not deadly; slows heroes and makes a mess |
| Block | Shop screenshot | A brick block card; no description pane was open |
| Fire Sling | Shop screenshot | Shown as an upgrade card, not a base trap |
Combos, without fake numbers
SludgeBit describes trap combinations and upgrades, but has not published an Oil Pit combo chart or a recommended placement pattern. The named devices above do not establish an optimal build.
Hero labels beside the shop include Armored, Climber, Fighter, Hero, and Runner. The 1 October Short discusses a climbing hero. Names and footage alone do not establish resistances, health, or trap damage.

Questions
Are all 30 traps listed here?
No. Only the ones named in official text or labeled on the pre-alpha screenshots. The rest are undisclosed.
Is the Oil Pit an instant kill?
The pre-alpha tooltip says it is not deadly. It slows heroes and makes a mess. That text can change before release.
